Our rum brand "TranQuila" offers a series of choices from our "Blanco" white rum to our flavored rums, "Manzana","Canela" and "Negro". We are currently testing out more rum flavors as well as new spirits.
Acere is a Cuban word that quite literally refers to an assortment of smelly monkeys. We loved this name because Gin is a spirit that is made up of an assortment of smelly botanicals. Acere is not a light Gin, it is packed with flavor and is a respectable 92 proof. We decided to use the re-distilled method for Acere , we felt like this gave us the most flavor and the best results with our botanical bill. Our botanical bill consists of Juniper Berries, Lemon Zest,Grains of Paradise, Orange Zest, Angelic Root, Cinnamon Spice, Coriander, Cardamom and Licorice Root.
Chavalo whiskey is named to promote the fact that this whiskey is a young whiskey. Chavalo is aged less than 2 years in used whiskey barrels. Most whiskeys are defined by their age, grain bill and their country of origin. Chavalo is made in house from a malted barely mash that is dominated by a 2-row Munich malt with a sprinkle of Black malt. We make Chavalo in very small batches that only yields about 70 bottles a run. This particular barley mash bill and finishing was influenced and developed by Miguel Arciniega. We will continue to collaborate with breweries and developers, to play with different grains, barrel types and finishing processes to come up with unique Whiskey choices for El Paso.
TranQuila Diablo was a lot fun to create, we experimented with tons of spices but ultimately concluded that all we needed was 6 amazing spices. Diablo uses Cinnamon spice, Star Anise, All-Spice, Orange Zest, Habanero Chile and Red Peppercorn. Diablo is a high proof, high flavor Rum with a spicy kick.
Terco Vodka is made from a base of pure cane sugar. We carefully select only the best hearts from the distillation and send them through our special charcoal filtering station. After the spirit is filtered, we then use pure distilled water to proof our Vodka to 80 Proof strength.
